How To Play Tatami
Tile the grid with 1×2 or 2×1 rectangles so that every cell is covered.
Gold cells are anchors — they belong to a pre-placed tile. Don't disturb them.
No four tiles may meet at any corner. Wherever four cells meet at a single point, exactly two tiles must share that corner (not four).
Click an empty cell to start a new tile, then click the partner cell (adjacent horizontally or vertically) to place it.
Click an existing non-anchor tile to remove it.
Controls:
Click an empty cell, then a neighbor — place a 1×2 or 2×1 tile.
Click an existing tile — remove it.
Esc — cancel the current placement.
