How do you play Rummy?

Each player is dealt 7 cards. On your turn, draw from the stock or discard pile, then discard one card. Form sets of 3+ cards of the same rank, or runs of 3+ consecutive cards of the same suit. The first player to meld all their cards wins.

What is the difference between Classic and Gin Rummy?

In Classic Rummy, you can lay down melds during your turn and lay off cards on opponent melds. In Gin Rummy, you keep melds hidden until you go out with Gin (no deadwood) or knock (10 or fewer deadwood points).

Aces are worth 1 point, cards 2-9 are face value, and 10, Jack, Queen, King are worth 10 points each. The winner scores the total of opponent's unmatched cards.

How to Play Rummy

Objective: Be the first to meld all your cards. Form sets (3+ cards of the same rank) and runs (3+ consecutive cards of the same suit).

Classic Mode: Meld cards whenever you have valid combinations. Lay off cards on your opponent's melds. Win by melding all cards.

Gin Rummy Mode: Keep melds hidden. Go out with Gin (zero deadwood) or knock (10 or fewer deadwood points). Your opponent can lay off deadwood on your melds when you knock.

Scoring: Ace = 1, 2-9 = face value, 10/J/Q/K = 10 points. Winner scores the opponent's deadwood total.

Controls: Click cards to select. Click stock/discard to draw. Click Meld to lay down selected cards. Click Sort to arrange your hand.
