How do you play Mastermind?

The computer creates a secret code of 4 colored pegs. You guess the code by selecting colors for each position. After each guess, you get feedback: Black pegs mean a correct color in the correct position, and White pegs mean a correct color in the wrong position.

What do the black and white feedback pegs mean?

A black peg means you have the right color in the right position. A white peg means you have the right color but in the wrong position. The pegs are shuffled so you can't tell which specific position they refer to.

What are the difficulty levels?

Easy uses 4 colors with 10 guesses. Medium uses 6 colors with 8 guesses. Hard uses 8 colors with 6 guesses. Higher difficulties offer bigger score bonuses.
