Cave (also called Corral) is a Nikoli logic puzzle. You shade cells in a grid so the unshaded cells form a single connected 'cave'. Numbers in cells tell you how many cells are visible from that cell in 4 cardinal directions before hitting a shaded cell (including itself).

Click cells to toggle between unshaded (cave interior) and shaded (wall). Right-click or long-press to mark cells as 'unknown' with a dot. Numbers must remain unshaded. All unshaded cells must form one connected region, and all shaded cells must connect to the grid edge.

What do the numbers mean in Cave?

Each number tells you how many unshaded cells are visible from that cell — counting the cell itself plus any unshaded cells in the four cardinal directions until the first shaded cell.

Left-click an empty cell to shade it (wall). Click again to mark unknown (dot). Click again to clear.

Right-click (or long-press) cycles the opposite way.

All cave (unshaded) cells must form one connected region.

All shaded cells must connect to the grid edge (no enclosed walls).
