How to Play Anglers
1. Find the anglers
Numbered circles on the grid border are anglers. The number tells you how many fish that angler catches.
2. Draw paths
Press and drag from an angler to draw a path into the grid. The path follows orthogonal directions (up, down, left, right).
3. Avoid crossings
Paths can never cross or overlap. Plan your routes carefully so every angler reaches their fish.
4. Catch all fish
Each fish must be on exactly one path. When all fish are caught with correct counts, you win!
Tips & Strategy
- Start with anglers that have the most fish — their paths are longest and most constrained.
- Anglers in corners have only one direction to go, making their starts forced.
- If two anglers are near each other, their paths often run parallel — plan the division early.
- Use Undo freely. Each path segment can be undone, so experiment.
About the Puzzle
Anglers (釣り針, Tsuribari) is a Nikoli-style path-drawing logic puzzle. It combines the non-crossing constraint of Numberlink with the counting mechanic of Hashi (Bridges). GameZipper's 30 handcrafted levels are reverse-constructed: paths are placed first, then anglers and fish are derived, guaranteeing solvability.
