How do you play Mind Reader?

Think of any character - real or fictional, human or animal. The genie will ask Yes/No/Maybe questions to identify who you're thinking of. Answer honestly and the genie will narrow down possibilities until it can make a guess.

How does the genie guess so accurately?

The game uses an entropy-based algorithm that calculates information gain for each question. It selects questions that maximize what it learns about your character, narrowing down hundreds of possibilities rapidly.

Can the game learn new characters?

Yes! If the genie fails to guess your character after 3 attempts, you can teach it about your character by answering a few quick questions. The character is saved to localStorage for future games.

What categories are available?

You can play with Characters (fictional and real people), Animals, or All characters combined. Switch categories anytime for a fresh challenge.
